Maputo 1977, i was supposed to be born there, my dad was traveling trough africa for work with my mum. Mum got pregnant while they where still in the middle of the continent, i dream about my birth in the middle of the jungle, the Lion King will growl to greet my family, the zebras, the giraffes, my beloved hypos and they big farts... nope, they decided they had enough time to reach Maputo, it was still called Lourenço Marques in 1976, Maputo had good international hospitals and was "well connected" to Europe, so we could get back when i would have been able to travel, but my parents changed their mind, they managed to get to Nairobi where they flew back just in time to give birth. I keep dreaming about growing up in Africa, that's probably why my heart beets to the sound of the African groove.
